The main distinction that separates average logos from famous brand logos is the presence of meaning and substance. The rich history and culture behind the making of famous logos is what makes them unique and memorable. Behind the evolution of each corporate renowned identity, there is a strong and meaningful story. For a corporate identity, the brand heritage is crucial in building customer loyalty. A case in point in the UK logo design market is the recent British Airways heritage revival done by adopting a 3D crest. Today I bring you my version of how famous logos might have evolved. Some of these include funny origins of top ranked UK brands like Barclays, British Petroleum and Orange. Through this amusing and entertaining post, I intend to create a ‘what-if’ scenario to show my readers some funny events that might have lead to the origin of these renowned logos.
