Does your logo design talk?

Big companies invest immense funds and resources in their logo design to convey their message to the clients. But be careful, clients do not have much time to interpret the message in your company logo. If you are unable to transmit your message across quickly, then your logo design is ineffective and useless. Transparency and clarity of a corporate company has become even more essential during the current recessionary times. Clients are now laying emphasis on finding honest and sincere companies to do business with.

Now what steps can small business owners take to position themselves as transparent and honest? Yes…your logo is the best way to win a clients trust and success in the market. Here are some of the ways to place your business message within a corporate logo design:

  • Determine what your business is all about….a logo reflects your company purpose.
  • Show what you can deliver…. logo design determines client expectations.
  • Confusion in a logo design creates credibility gap….adopt a straightforward approach.
  • Differentiate your logo design or you will be branded as a cheater.
  • A picture is worth a thousand words…conveys your message through illustration
  • Use the “YOU Attitude”…. displaying your clients’ interests in your business logo conveys your thoughtfulness.
  • Develop a logo not an essay…be short concise and precise with your message.
  • Use an interesting tagline instead of traditional rhetoric to convey your services.
  • The message in your logo design should be targeting your client’s requirements.
  • Pursue perfect execution of the logo design…it would be crucial if your message may not reach your clients.

Bear in mind that in a severely competitive atmosphere, a company must position itself to promptly communicate to its clients with an effective and appealing message. This is where an ingenious and compelling logo design plays a vital role. In the concluding stages of my post, I would say that while designing your company logo, “Express and not repress” should be your formula.

My experience in this world of logo designing helped me list these tips but if you have more to add, I will really appreciate.
