It is sad that the idea only came around after much criticism and that McDonald's did not feel the responsibility to do this without pressure but at least now it is a step in the right direction rather than ignoring a growing problem and only having a concern for profits. I really quite like the green colour too. I think it would be nice if this was a global effort and would really help to deliver the message with a global consistency of the new logo.
