<p>When it comes to effective brand management, customer recalls for a logo matter a lot. The more we encounter an image associated with a brand, the more likely it is to influence our perceptions about it, and the greater will be the effect on our purchase decisions.</p>
<p>But wont consumers get annoyed when the logo is rubbed into their faces and their lives over and over again? That is when smart strategy comes into play. The placement of your logo needs to be widespread enough, and yet not into everyone’s noses. Discretion and careful selection of virtual places to position your logo become the distinguishing factors behind successful brand logos.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center">&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h2><strong>Displaying your Logo in the Real World</strong></h2>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>Ensuring that your logo and brand appears in the right places, matters a lot. Here’s a list of top places in the real world where you can advertise your logo for many to see.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Public Places</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>The most sensible choice for placing your brand logo where it will get the maximum coverage is public places. These include frequently visited parks, movie theatres, and even malls which are often visited by people for leisurely purposes. However, the logo display needs to be attractive, eye-catching, and placed in selected areas where visitors can’t help but notice it.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Shopping Areas</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>The next best place for giving your brand logo a well-deserved peep will be supermarkets and shopping stores. When a customer goes for some serious shopping to a superstore, his/her mind is actively scanning products and brands. What could be a better opportunity to put forth your brand logo when the customer is quite likely to register it as a prospective choice! However, care needs to be taken to place the products and promotional materials in a way that the brand logo successfully cuts through the clutter of various brands and stands out as the one to recall.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Most Visited Clubs</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>If your brand targets a selected audience, placing your logo in clubs especially visited by your target audience will be a very wise strategy. For example, what could be a better place to display the logo of a sportswear brand than a popular community sports club?</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h2><strong>Displaying your Logo in the Virtual World</strong></h2>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>There’s a reason why the phrase ‘global village’ has become so commonplace these days; today the entire world has literally been merged, thanks to the use of technology and the internet which has made the virtual world as much a reality as the physical world we are surrounded by. Therefore, forgetting to get your brand logo recognised in the virtual world may truly be setting up your brand for an unfortunate story.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Social Networking Websites</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>Who hasn’t heard of Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and the likes? With over 800 million Facebook users, and nearly 350 million Twitter users, having a strong presence in the social media can take your brand a long, long way. Just having a Facebook or Twitter account or page is not enough; you need to ensure that your brand is active on these websites so that your logo is anything but ignored by the millions of users out there every time you post a comment or tweet. </p>
<p> Besides these famous two, there are other social websites that are specially designed for certain purposes, such as Linked In, where you can not only create a more professional version of your brand’s page, but also get linked to the other social media websites mentioned above. Remember, every time you comment, your trademark logo goes across to millions.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Related Blogs</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>The power of a strong blog is one force to reckon with in the virtual world. As easy as ABC, creating a blog on blog-sites such as blogger.com or wordpress.com is a surefire way to enhance your brand’s online presence. Update your blog with interesting posts regularly, write catchy pieces related to your brand, and, of course, design your blog in sync with your brand logo. People won&#8217;t help but notice your brand logo if it is a part of the blog world too.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Specialized Websites</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>Besides blogs and social networking sites, specialized websites catering to a target group of consumers will also make it to the hit list of places where your logo MUST have a presence. For example, if your brand targets students, then placing an ad or participating on related websites and forums will ensure your logo gets the recognition it deserves.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h3><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8226;&nbsp;Multimedia Websites</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>Everybody loves something interactive. And the internet gurus have made it possible for your logo and brand to make a mark in the more animated world of YouTube and Flickr. You can place catchy advertisements, informative videos, presentations, speeches, and many other multimedia files related to your brand and business on these websites. Remember to design the video clips and photo files in a way that no one misses your brand logo!</p>
</td>

<p>When creativity and technology blend together, they give birth to a masterwork which speaks for itself. Logos are meant to glorify the significance of a company and distinguish them among others. But they sometimes lead organization to controversies, which are big enough to lead the company into ruins. It’s a kind of advertisement in which the more controversial you are the more notorious you get.</p>
<p> Some brands even started a <strong><a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.logoguru.co.uk/pages/logo-design-contest.html">logo design contest</a></strong> to get their brand identities developed. Here are the fascinating stories behind the billion dollar brands and their logo designs.

<tr>
<td align="left">
<h3><strong>1.	Apple</strong></h3>

<tr>
<td align="center" style="text-align:center" ><img title="Queen Logo Design" width="500" height="200" border="0" style="border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px" src="http://www.logoguru.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Apple.png" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>One of the world&rsquo;s leading brands, Apple was founded by Steve jobs and his partners in 1976. Apple&rsquo;s icon is a bitten apple and is rumored that it signifies the forbidden fruit symbolically an apple. Furthermore the eating of this fruit by Adam and Eve in the Eden was a not good deed. That led Adam and Eve to be banished from heaven.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="left">
<h3><strong>2.	Starbucks</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center" style="text-align:center" ><img title="Rolling Stones Logo Design" width="500" height="200" border="0" style="border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px" src="http://www.logoguru.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Starbucks.png" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>This is an interesting fact that I&rsquo;m sure most of you might not know. Starbucks have taken its green lady symbol&rsquo;s inspiration from a siren of Greek mythology. Sirens are dangerous creatures in mythology, which used to trap sailors by attracting them with their beauty and then killed them.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="left">
<h3><strong>3.	Versace</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center" style="text-align:center" ><img title="Beatles Logo Design" width="500" height="200" border="0" style="border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px" src="http://www.logoguru.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Versace.png" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Vanity and promiscuity will ruin you! You may have come across to this notion before. But here a horrifying fact about Versace, its old logo portrays a woman personified as Medusa. She is said to be a taboo in history. In short Medusa was a lusty lady and had gone so far in this melody. She is said to be punished by Athena for her sins. But still Versace has its own side of story.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="left">
<h3><strong>4.	Comedy Central</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center" style="text-align:center" ><img title="Dragonforce Logo Design" width="500" height="200" border="0" style="border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px" src="http://www.logoguru.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Comedy-Central.png" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>You may have seen this logo but take a look at it again. You can find a &lsquo;C&rsquo; within a &lsquo;C&rsquo;. This is so cleverly made symbol. Comedy Central logos were never so interesting previously, but this time they have shown their creativity.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>

<tr>
<td align="left">
<h3><strong>5.	London 2012 Olympics</strong></h3>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center" style="text-align:center" ><img title="Black Sabbath Logo Design" width="500" height="200" border="0" style="border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px" src="http://www.logoguru.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/London-2012-Olympics.png" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>Olympics logo has fallen to controversy once again but this time it&rsquo;s critical than before. The &lsquo;2012&rsquo; you can observe in the upper part of the picture somehow gives a glimpse of an obscene and objectionable act being performed. Moreover, Iran also objected London 2012 Olympics Logo to spell out &lsquo;Zion&rsquo;.</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>

<tr>
<td align="left">
<h3><strong>6.	BMW</strong></h3>

</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>The significance of sky blue and white color in BMW&rsquo;s logo symbolizes it origin from Bavaria, the German State where it was first made. Moreover, the shine and gradient effect shown in its logo design gives reference to the first rotating air propeller made by BMW.</p>
</td>

<h3><strong>7.	 Volkswagen</strong></h3>

</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>These days, luxury sedans are taking the soul of a reckless sports car. You may not know that Volkswagen&rsquo;s sedan was named after Phaeton. Phaeton was the son of Apollo, a Greek God.&nbsp; Phaeton was killed in the sky of his reckless riding on the chariot allegedly by Zeus. </p>
</td>

</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>One of the strongest controversies, Vodafone is accused of promoting the satanic beliefs through its logo. It is said that the red color in the logo represents the satanic flag and the three six in the logo refer to the beast in the book of revelation. </p>
</td>

<h3><strong>9.	Chicago Blackhawks</strong></h3>

</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>The picture on the jerseys of Chicago Blackhawks is derived from their founder&rsquo;s military unit, &lsquo;Blackhawk Division&rsquo;. Though it may be offensive for many after revealing the fact behind it, but there is nothing to worry about.</p>

<tr>
<td>
<p>One of world&rsquo;s best motor cars, Mercedes Benz logo speaks for its company&rsquo;s mission itself. Star in the logo point towards three things.
