You should credit the designers or link back to their portfolios otherwise it looks like you’re passing them off as your own.

All very clever and creative, especially the Spartan one hidden in the golf logo.
I do wonder how many I would have fully got w/o the help below the logo. It took me years to see the arrow in the Fed-Ex logo.

The Spartan Golf Club Logo, to me, is by far the most clever logo. If the spartan head wasn’t enough, even the headdress part looks to be almost a swing power meter like in video games. I can feel the movement. Seriously awesome.

A lot of these logos don’t deserve the credit they’ve been given in my opinion. Yes, Spartan Golf Clubs mixes the theme of spartan and golf well and looks good, but from my searches around the net from what I can tell Spartan Golf Clubs don’t exist. Same with Tom’s Pet Lounge!
It’s a lot easier to think of two themes and mix them together then make up a company name then it is to take a brief for a real world company and craft something bespoke for their market.
Blog posts like these should feature only real world examples of logos, not made up ones. The title “Creativity with meaning!!” doesn’t work when there isn’t any meaning!

@roy: i think everyone here knows the writer only compiled the logos and not claim them as his.
